Love Can Wait

You know the feeling when you have been single for so long and you wanted to experience to fall in love again?

I have been feeling this since 2013 and I realized that we cannot rely on love to be happy and content. Some individuals are not destined to have a family of their own and some would remain single. God has plans for all of us that we might not understand yet.

I know this is easier said than done as we’re humans and we need love to sustain us. Love can be found from other people and things, but sometimes being in a relationship with someone would make our lives brighter and better.

I’ve been reading stuff on the Internet about pursuing your crush or what are the things that you should not do to your crush if you’re a girl…It’s always stated in the articles not to be the first one to start a conversation with a guy as you might seem too desperate or too easy. I asked my friend if this is true, and he said, “it depends, some guys prefer to start conversations and some are too shy to initiate.” So, I thought to myself, maybe there’s nothing wrong with starting a conversation with your crush. It’s just a matter of accepting rejection. Lol.

I started doing this for quite some time, but now I’m thinking to stop and not make an effort anymore. I really think that if a guy likes you, he will do anything and everything to make you feel special. Maybe I’m hopeless romantic, but getting to know someone should be a two-way thing, right?

So this week, I learned the following:

  • always trust God and His ways
  • always pray to God for every decision
  • don’t rush yourself in a relationship
  • LOVE CAN WAIT– I’ve been single for 4 years, so another 3 or 4 years wouldn’t be too hard I guess?
